Waste Heat Boiler Controls
Two FAC2000 controllers are located aboard the RADFORD in waste-heat boiler room number 3 -- an extremely difficult environment for electronics to operate in  These controllers are regulating the water level and pressure of the boiler.  There are three waste heat boiler systems on this ship. 

Flash Distilling Plant Controls
Three FAC-2000 controllers regulate temperature and pressure loops for the USS ARTHUR W. RADFORD's distilling plant.  This plant makes potable water for use in systems across the ship.
