Installations: USS Frank Cable (AS-40)

This picture was taken when USS SEATTLE was in the Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard for repair in 2000/2001.  During this period the ship received its new automatic boiler controls.  This system features 28 FAC-2000 controllers and four FAIRNET networks that link the ships four propulsion boiler control systems to the ships ICAS network.  The FAIRNET - ICAS link was made through Fairmount Automation's FAIRNET OPC Server software and enables ships force to monitor and analyze the plants operation from any of the ICAS stations sprinkled around the ship.

One of the two main feed pump control stations on USS SEATTLE.
