The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has published a roadmap for establishing secure industrial control systems called NIST SP 800-82, “Guide to Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) Security”. It includes an overview of methods that can be used to protect an ICS such as risk management and assessment, security architecture, selective use of IT controls in the ICS, and how to generate an effective response to a cyber event.
The US Navy has similar initiatives underway to secure shipboard systems which have yielded a set of cyber security requirements.
Our products feature an expansive set of cyber hardened features, built into products from the ground up, that support these efforts and help meet the needed requirements. They include capabilities in the following areas:
- Physical Protection / Physical Access
- Access Control and Configuration Management
- Identification and Authentication
- System Integrity and Protection
- Communication Protection
- Audit / Historical Evidence
