The Overwatch system includes a variety of Input / Output (I/O) Modules that can read AC or contact inputs and switch external AC or DC power. Each contact input can interface with multiple alarm and/or pre-alarm contact switches over a supervised channel.
All modules receive power from and communicate with a Control Panel via the SLC loop with a built-in isolator to support Class A or X configurations.
All modules feature three externally-visible LED indicators:
- Poll (green LED): Indicates SLC network activity
- Active (red LED): Illuminates when the input goes active
- Fault (yellow LED): Indicates the built-in isolator is actively isolating an SLC short-circuit
Contact Input Module
The Contact Input Module monitors a set of switched contacts (e.g., from external sensors, flame detector, water switches, air aspirated smoke detectors, etc.) for status or faults and communicates that information to the Control Panel over the SLC.

Marine Mini Switch Input Module with Isolator
